As part of academic activities, an embedded device was developed for vocally impaired people helping them to communicate for basic needs. It was developed by processing laryngeal vibrations of vocally impaired people using signal processing and neural networks. This project won first prize in the state level tech fest for improving life of disabled people. Several other awards were won for this project.

During sophomore year, designed a walking stick with heart attack detector. Detection of heart attack was based on the processing of ECG signals.
